Dirk has been interested in websites for as long as he's been using a computer. He started out hand coding websites and then discovered the magic of graphic editing software.

Thinking that designing websites might be a fad (oh how he was wrong), he decided to get some proper computer qualifications but still craved to do something creative. So off he went to Wellington to complete a Diploma of Website Design at Natcoll Design School.

Upon completing his diploma, and not being able to find a job designing websites, he shifted his focus on a job in technology related retail (while still secretly keeping up his web & graphics design skills).

After working in retail for quite a few years the novelty was starting the wear off. Luckily he was rescued by a customer who offered him a job designing websites and subsequently introduced him to Woogloo. The rest they say is history…
